Certification's goal
The European Financial Planner® (EFP) is the highest level of certification. It concerns the financial planning activity as a whole.
Outside Europe, this certification is providing under the label International Financial Planner® (IFP) certification. The certificate is adapted to local constraints.

Target audience
That certification offers a training Integrated practice of financial planning including investments at portfolio level, estate planning, international taxation, retirement and insurance needs not only for private clients but also for business owners.

Duration
The educational programs should be covered in a minimum of 21 classroom days or 168 tuition hours (or equivalent), after EFA or IFA certifications.

Recognition
​
EFPA Luxembourg ASLB is recognized as a training center by the Minister of National Education, Childhood and Youth of Luxembourg.
​
This status allows our members to benefit from tax advantages as part of their certification, for unemployed person and also others.

EFPA Luxembourg ASBL has been added by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) to the list of bodies providing external training within the meaning of Circular CSSF 17/670 of 13 October 2017.
Consequently, the EFPA European Investment Practitioner® certification, the EFPA European Financial Advisor® certification and the EFPA European Financial Planner® certification are recognized by the CSSF as meeting the different criteria as stated in the Circular CSSF 17/665 of 31 July 2017.
