Certification's goal
The European Financial Planner® (EFP) is the highest level of certification. It concerns the financial planning activity as a whole.
Outside Europe, this certification is providing under the label International Financial Planner® (IFP) certification. The certificate is adapted to local constraints.
Target audience
That certification offers a training Integrated practice of financial planning including investments at portfolio level, estate planning, international taxation, retirement and insurance needs not only for private clients but also for business owners.
Duration
The educational programs should be covered in a minimum of 21 classroom days or 168 tuition hours (or equivalent), after EFA or IFA certifications.

New exceptional partnership!
Early begining of January, EFPA Luxembourg proudly established a new partnership with ESSCA School of Management for the MSc Wealth Management & Private Banking programme.
Mid of February,12 students from several ESSCA Campus came in Luxembourg to experience the "Immersive Days" concept.

The signing ceremony took place on 3 January, during EFPA's visit to Lyon of Roger Hartmann, Chairman of the EFPA Luxembourg’s Board of Directors and Patrick Levaldaur, CEO of EFPA Luxembourg and Chairman of EFPA Europe SQC. Formalized with the signature of Jean Charroin, ESSCA Group CEO, this highly rewarding partnership marks the start of a new era. This event represents the beginning of an exciting collaboration between two institutions dedicated to academic and professional excellence.
A shared commitment
This exceptional partnership offers a unique opportunity to students on the programme, who will now be able to benefit from EFPA's European Financial Planner® certification. EFPA is the leading professional certification body for financial advisers and planners in Europe, with over 90,000 certificate holders, 11 countries of operation and more than a hundred partner companies.
Students on this course will obtain not only Luxembourgish but also European certification, incorporating the practice of financial planning, which will enable them to work across the European landscape. In addition to the French and international legal and tax aspects of wealth creation, management and transfer, this is a unique ability to envisage an international career.

First event in partnership : the "Immersive Days"
For three days and consequently to the cooperation of EFPA Luxembourg ASBL and ESSCA School of Management, students had the incredible opportunity to deep dive into Luxembourg's financial sector, network with industry professionals, and gain valuable insights into their future careers.
Thanks to numerous partners, who took some of their time, the future students of the ESSCA MSc in Wealth Management & Private Banking had the possibility to discover Luxembourg and its financial centre.
They could listen to, discuss with and learn a lot with all the following entities that played a part in making these 3 days a real success: ABBL, Luxembourg-for-finance, LPEA, Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association, BGL BNP Paribas, SOGELIFE S.A., Luxembourg Stock Exchange, Edmond de Rotschild, BlackRock, KPMG Luxembourg, Blackstone, Quintet Private Bank, Lombard Odier Group, Baker McKenzie, Société Générale Private Banking.
