The signing ceremony took place on 3 January, during EFPA's visit to Lyon of Roger Hartmann, Chairman of the EFPA Luxembourg’s Board of Directors and Patrick Levaldaur, CEO of EFPA Luxembourg and Chairman of EFPA Europe SQC. Formalized with the signature of Jean Charroin, ESSCA Group CEO, this highly rewarding partnership marks the start of a new era. This event represents the beginning of an exciting collaboration between two institutions dedicated to academic and professional excellence.

A shared commitment

This exceptional partnership offers a unique opportunity to students on the programme, who will now be able to benefit from EFPA's European Financial Planner® certification. EFPA is the leading professional certification body for financial advisers and planners in Europe, with over 90,000 certificate holders, 11 countries of operation and more than a hundred partner companies.

Students on this course will obtain not only Luxembourgish but also European certification, incorporating the practice of financial planning, which will enable them to work across the European landscape. In addition to the French and international legal and tax aspects of wealth creation, management and transfer, this is a unique ability to envisage an international career.

A challenge for the future

This offers significant added value to future wealth advisers and future employees in the financial and banking sector.

This certification represents a further step towards academic and professional excellence, reinforcing the commitment to training leaders in the field of wealth management and private banking.

EFPA Luxembourg and ESSCA School of Management look forward to seeing the fruits of this fruitful collaboration and to continuing to provide our partner's students with the best tools and opportunities to excel in their careers.

Roger Hartmann, from EFPA, is thrilled with this agreement, which "enhances the value of the skills acquired by ESSCA MSc students, while improving their employability. This long-term agreement will also provide them with a first-rate tool for combating professional obsolescence, thanks to the continuing education pathway set up by EFPA."

First event in partnership : the "Immersive Days"

For three days and consequently to the cooperation of EFPA Luxembourg ASBL and ESSCA School of Management, students had the incredible opportunity to deep dive into Luxembourg's financial sector, network with industry professionals, and gain valuable insights into their future careers.

Thanks to numerous partners, who took some of their time, the future students of the ESSCA MSc in Wealth Management & Private Banking had the possibility to discover Luxembourg and its financial centre.

They could listen to, discuss with and learn a lot with all the following entities that played a part in making these 3 days a real success: ABBL, Luxembourg-for-finance, LPEA, Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association, BGL BNP Paribas, SOGELIFE S.A., Luxembourg Stock Exchange, Edmond de Rotschild, BlackRock, KPMG Luxembourg, Blackstone, Quintet Private Bank, Lombard Odier Group, Baker McKenzie, Société Générale Private Banking.
They also had the chance to network with all those esteemed speakers who shared their expertise and wisdom with them.

There's no doubt that this first successful experience will certainly give rise to other 'Immersive Days' in the future !
