Certification's goal
The European Financial Planner® (EFP) is the highest level of certification. It concerns the financial planning activity as a whole.
Outside Europe, this certification is providing under the label International Financial Planner® (IFP) certification. The certificate is adapted to local constraints.
Target audience
That certification offers a training Integrated practice of financial planning including investments at portfolio level, estate planning, international taxation, retirement and insurance needs not only for private clients but also for business owners.
Duration
The educational programs should be covered in a minimum of 21 classroom days or 168 tuition hours (or equivalent), after EFA or IFA certifications.

EFPA Continuous Professional Development Program (CPD)

EFPA Finance Forum Conferences
EFPA Luxembourg presents its EFPA Finance Forum. A new concept offering 2 themed conferences in the world of finance: one on sustainable finance and the other one on wealth management/planning.
Each conference is based on a keynote speech, fire side chats, panels and a charity challenge. The aim is to bring together professionals to discuss a variety of subjects all linked to the theme of the conference.
It is also an opportunity to network.
EFPA Live Conferences
In partnership with the CAIA and CFA associations, EFPA organises themed conferences each year on the premises of one of our major partners. This is an opportunity to bring together finance professionals for a keynote speech and a round-table discussion on a topical issue, and to enjoy a moment of networking together in a second step.
EFPA Networking Series
This original initiative will allow you to share a privileged moment in a convivial setting with one of our main partners on a specific topic of its expertise and to network with other colleagues from the finance industry afterwards.
EFPA Handbooks - Publication
With the EFPA Handbook Series, you can explore the world of finance on various subjects through the eyes of practitioners sharing their expertise. Books, e-books, and a website reveal each facet of each specific theme through articles written by experts and practitioners for the practitioners.
