Certification's goal
The European Financial Planner® (EFP) is the highest level of certification. It concerns the financial planning activity as a whole.
Outside Europe, this certification is providing under the label International Financial Planner® (IFP) certification. The certificate is adapted to local constraints.
Target audience
That certification offers a training Integrated practice of financial planning including investments at portfolio level, estate planning, international taxation, retirement and insurance needs not only for private clients but also for business owners.
Duration
The educational programs should be covered in a minimum of 21 classroom days or 168 tuition hours (or equivalent), after EFA or IFA certifications.


The EFPA ESG Handbook
The EFPA ESG Handbook is a series of content written by practitioners describing the different aspects of sustainable finance. The handbook brings together industry professionals who wish to highlight their expertise and share best practices.
The next edition will be digital, on top of hard copies, and a website will be associated with it to facilitate its update and to keep readers informed of the latest developments in sustainable finance. The website will compile all the different content provided and also additional content, including videos. The digital handbook will focus on practical elements including references to the website for complementary content. This will help to reduce the carbon footprint of the handbook.
On top of the European edition, national versions will be available to depict local practices through dedicated additional parts. The website will of course integrated all the different elements of the handbook, included the national one.
