Certification's goal
The European Financial Planner® (EFP) is the highest level of certification. It concerns the financial planning activity as a whole.
Outside Europe, this certification is providing under the label International Financial Planner® (IFP) certification. The certificate is adapted to local constraints.
Target audience
That certification offers a training Integrated practice of financial planning including investments at portfolio level, estate planning, international taxation, retirement and insurance needs not only for private clients but also for business owners.
Duration
The educational programs should be covered in a minimum of 21 classroom days or 168 tuition hours (or equivalent), after EFA or IFA certifications.

EFPA ESG Expert Advisor
Certification's goal
The EFPA ESG Expert Advisor (EEEA) certification aims to deepen and enlarge the knowledge and skills received through ESG Advisor®. It enlarges the vision of the financial professionals with the skillset to integrate ESG considerations into their advisory practices, effectively manage climate-related risks, and provide informed guidance to clients on sustainable finance and investment opportunities.
Target audience
That certification is addressed to all professionals interested in obtaining solid knowledge in this sector, specifically for financial advisors and planners.
Duration
The training program should be covered in a minimum of 2 classroom days or 16 tuition hours (or equivalent) on top of the ESG program.
Usual schedule
EFPA Luxembourg organizes multiple sessions of EFPA ESG Expert Advisor final exam every year.
Depending on the organization of the different training centers, different sessions of courses are available to prepare the final examination.

EFPA ESG Expert Advisor final examination
To allow each professional to validate the training followed and to demonstrate to the competent authorities that he/she has effectively acquired a level of knowledge and competence of excellence, EFPA organizes a final exam.
The EFPA ESG Expert Advisor® final examination consists of a multiple choice test with four possible answers by question and only one correct answer per question.
